March 29, 2026 – Katy, TX – Allison Kroff and T-Quick Hurricane Z are back in the Winner’s Circle yet again. This time they sped to the win out of twenty-one competitors in the $30,000 Pin Oak Grand Prix, sponsored by Irish Day Farm, in a lightning-fast time of 38.481 seconds. Alwaleed Alrashid was on her heels, finishing just 0.007s behind to take the red ribbon.

Kroff and T-Quick Hurricane Z, the fourteen-year-old Zangersheide mare by Thunder Van De Zuuthoeve out of Quick Shakira have had a lot of success at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show in the past and are keeping their streak this year, claiming their second win. “She is very spicy. She is definitely wanting to be in charge. She doesn’t want to be told what to do, a little bit like me, so I think that’s why our bond is so strong,” Kroff spoke of their partnership.

The Grand Prix course was designed by Bernardo Costa Cabral, and there were eleven clears after the first round. Kroff qualified all three of her rides for the jump off. “I loved [the course], I think it rode really well and it set us up to have a competitive jump off. It was nice for me having three in the jump off. On the first two I kind of got to test it out and she’s always my speed demon. I can always trust on her to go a little faster.”

Alwaleed Alrashid and his longtime partner W Senna, the eleven-year-old KWPN mare by Kannan out of Capitals 5 and owned by W.A Farm LLC, put in two incredible performances, finishing in second by only 0.007s. Alrashid has been knocking on the door all week and will certainly be one to watch during the rest of our series at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center in the coming weeks with his string of horses.

Trapp O’Neal and TKO Sporthorses’ Incredible Loma, the thirteen-year-old KWPN gelding by Numero Uno out of Zenaloma, put in a great effort with a double clear ride and crossed the timers in 39.700 seconds in the jump off.

The $30,000 Pin Oak Grand Prix was sponsored by the Irish Day Farm, a hunter/jumper training barn led by Katie Lambert-Boone and Hans Boone. They focus on strong fundamentals, communication, and empathy. They have a proven track record of developing skilled, confident riders who excel in horsemanship and succeed in the show ring.

Kroff and her team have attended Pin Oak for quite a while, “I love it. It draws us in every year – this horse show is amazing. It’s so magical coming in, the crowd is unbelievable; they’re so supportive and know when to cheer and they let you hear it.” Kroff’s performance was definitely worth cheering for, and we know the next two weeks of competition will be, too. You won’t want to miss it!
