Grand Prix
Welcome to the Grand Prix 2011
The Grand Prix is a sanctioned U.S. Equestrian Team event and an Olympic qualifying competiton, which attracts riders from Mexico, Canada, South America and Europe. The event combines a course of jumps much more challenging than that of the average jumper class. It provides spectators with the excitement and drama found only in the most competitive sporting events.

| 2011 Week 1 Winner - South Bound, Owned & Ridden by Martien Van Der Hoeven |
The objective of the Grand Prix is for each horse and rider to clear every obstacle on the course with the least number of faults (penalties) and the fastest time. No two courses are the same and the goal of the course designer is to set up a challenging course that only a half dozen or more horses can complete with no faults.
The Pin Oak Grand Prixs are the first two jewels in the Texas Triple Crown. Enjoy the competition and dinner at your own ringside table and cheer on your favorite horse and rider!
